Tryouts

1. Upon arrival, each player will check in, confirm they are in the correct age group, receive a tryout number, and be assigned to a court. 
2. In order to receive an offer to play on a Red Storm team, you will need to provide a CHECK made payable to Red Storm Volleyball or CASH in an envelope labeled with the player's name and age group in the amount of $550. 
   • $265 will be applied to the gear package* and $285 toward the tuition for 10s - 14s
   • $335 will be applied toward the gear package* and $215 toward tuition for 15s - 18s
   • Should you decide to accept an offer to play on a Red Storm team, we will deposit your check.  Should you decide not to play for Red Storm or you are not offered a position on a Red Storm team, we will shred your check.
3. Tryouts are CLOSED to all parents.  We want the girls’ undivided attention so we can properly assess their skill level.
4. Decisions regarding tryouts will go out the week following and the parent meeting/MANDATORY gear try-on will be Sunday, October 29th for 10s-14s ONLY. For 15s-18s gear try-on/parent meeting will be on November 19th. 
   • Parent meeting will begin at 2 PM.
   • Gear try-on will begin after parent meeting.
   • Players will be involved in a play progression when they are not trying on gear.

*Red Storm gear package includes: 1 pair of tights, 1 pair of kneepads, 1 pair of cover shorts, 3 pack of socks, 1 cover shirt and 2 jerseys (10s - 14s) and 3 jerseys (15s-18s); Parents will be able to order extra gear through an online store.
